WILDFLOWERS BOARDWALK
On the cool Southcoast of Western Australia
wildflowers close to the centre of town
The Albany W.A. region is awash with native blossoms from September until November.
By late September flowers are at their peak, however there are still great opportunities to see blossoms well into November.
Each year the timing is a little different depending upon the timing of rain and sunshine.
To see wildflowers in their natural habitat, close to the town centre, take Middleton Road out of town to Middleton Beach
then walk on the Boardwalk (starting from the restaurant) walking in a southerly direction.
Within a 10-15 minute stretch of pathway, you will see a great variety of stunning native flora.
Between August - October you may also see whales.
boardwalk + town walk
Take the boardwalk from Middleton Beach around the point (55 minutes return) or take the walk all the way to town.
